#11 Blog Greetings from Georgia Veterans Memorial Park As we suspected, we could not return to Koreshan state park in Estero, Florida. Most of the barrier island parks south of Fort Myers were either gone or uninhabitable.😢 Koreshan was damaged, but not to the point that it couldn't be used as a placement for strike teams and Rangers who had lost their homes and parks. There was no room for volunteers, at least not for a month or two. So..... The maintenance Ranger (Dan) was very upset that he was not involved in this decision, because Brian was fixing vehicles, tractors, hydraulics and antique engines.
